Superintendent's Message

Mr. Hill's Welcome Letter for 26/27 School Year.

Welcome to the 2026–2027 School Year Dear CLSD Students, Families, Staff, and Community,

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 2026–2027 school year in the CLSD community!

As we begin a new school year, we are filled with excitement and optimism for the opportunities ahead. Each new year brings the chance to learn, grow, build relationships, and create meaningful experiences for our students. Our shared commitment remains clear: to provide every student with a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where they can discover their strengths, pursue their goals, and reach their full potential.

Our schools are much more than buildings where learning takes place. They are places where students develop confidence, character, friendships, leadership skills, and a sense of belonging. The success of our students depends upon a strong partnership among students, families, educators, staff, and the entire CLSD community.

To our students, I encourage you to approach this year with curiosity, determination, and a willingness to challenge yourself. Take advantage of the opportunities available to you, support your classmates, and remember that success is built one step at a time.

To our families, thank you for entrusting us with the education and development of your children. Your partnership and support are essential to their success. We look forward to working together throughout the year to ensure that every student has the opportunity to thrive.

To our dedicated teachers, administrators, support staff, coaches, and employees, thank you for the care, professionalism, and commitment you bring to our schools each day. Your work makes a lasting difference in the lives of our students.

As we look ahead to the 2026–2027 school year, let us embrace new opportunities, celebrate our successes, learn from our challenges, and continue moving forward together. I am excited about what we will accomplish as a community and look forward to sharing in the many achievements and memorable moments this school year will bring. Welcome back, CLSD! Let's make 2026–2027 a year of learning, growth, achievement, and pride.

Sincerely,

Mr. Daniel C. Hill, Superintendent
